    Junior Product Development Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare sales team for customer calls by preparing necessary documentation and samples. Prepare overnight shipments as necessary. Organize and maintain the sample room.
    • Assist the department with compliance to ensure nutritional labeling/ingredients are accurate and compliant with applicable regulations.
      Coordinate and oversee co-packing projects as required.
    • Work with Logistics to guarantee customer timelines are met.
    • Liaison with suppliers and logistics to problem solve delivery issues and delays.
    • Conduct channel specific product surveys as needed.
    • Attend trade shows to identify trends and also find new product offerings

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent job-related experience preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience in Food Marketing and Product Development
    • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment; Ability to research and analyze data effectively
    • Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
    • Ability to work effectively with management

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 


    Job Duty 


    Product Development:

    Minimum Qualifications


    Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    (Preferred): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing


    - 1-3 years of experience in Food Marketing and Product Development
